Various famous personalities and professional golfers have come to St. Andrews to compete in the prestigious Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. beginning Thursday the 3rd of October.
The event will see 168 renowned golfers strive to obtain recognition and a cash prize of over $800,000 for first place for their talents in the widely-viewed championship.

If you’ve walked by the Old Course recently, you might have noticed that the area has been blocked off and populated with event tents and large vehicles bearing the names of famous golf brands like Titleist. The commotion revolves around the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, a well-known fixture of the global golfing community which begins Thursday, October 3 and will conclude the following Sunday.
Lasting four days total, the international attention paid to the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship means that expert golfers won’t be the only attendees. In fact, celebrities such as Comedian Bill Murray, Journalist Piers Morgan, Singer Huey Lewis, and Movie Producer Michael Douglas and Formula One driver Charles Leclerc are among the many famous individuals set to attend. Additionally, respected golfers such as Robert MacIntyre, Jon Rahm, and defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick are scheduled to hit the course.
