Come escape with us on Saturday, 15 February at FS2020: Playhaus. At 6 pm, 2,000 guests will gather on Lower College Lawn to experience the 28th Annual FS. This year’s show is gearing up to be something extra special. Featured designers in the show include Clawdi, Alice Pons, Ripa Ripa, and Walker Slater. There have been multiple rooms which the models have explored with Playhaus and there are a few more to come. The event starts at 6 pm with guests arriving all through the night. WEISS, famous for singing with Becky Hill, will be headlining the after party. You can also purchase tickets for the after party itself.
In support of Fashion Revolution, FS is focusing on sustainability, doing their part to put on a sustainable show. Guests will receive sustainable gift-bags including many coupons and goodies from local and global sponsors including Maria Nila, Benecos UK, Rekorderlig Cider, The Golf Inn, and Remedy, among others. Corporate guests will have Veuve Clicquot glasses at their table to help cut plastic usage. At every table, Point 8 Percent’s natural and sustainable mineral water will be available. St Andrews Charity Fashion Show has done an incredible job making sure to cover all grounds before, during, and after the show in relation to sustainability.

When choosing designers for this year’s show, sustainability was the main concern. One portion of the show is lingerie and FS is able to proudly say that 100% of the men’s lingerie and 50% of the women’s lingerie that is being shown is completely sustainable. Featured along with the lingerie, Clawdi will have her pieces featured. As an Australian designer, Clawdi is donating 20% of her profits from what she has produced for the show to the Australian Wildfire relief. If you happen to see something you fancy on the catwalk, each piece will be available to purchase so you, too, can wear it.

If sustainable fashion interests you, make sure to come along to the events leading up to the show. St Andrews Charity Fashion Show will be hosting events on sustainability in fashion starting on Wednesday, 12 February. On Wednesday, FS will be teaming up with Sustainable Style for a clothing swap at The Adamson. Then on Thursday, FS is working with Green Film Festival to host a film screening of River Blue at the Byre Theatre at 7 pm. The last event before the fashion show is, on Friday, 14 February, a Sustainability in Fashion Panel & Pop-Up Shop in Lower College Hall. At this pop-up shop you can purchase pieces that will be worn in the show. More information about all of these events can be found on the St Andrews Charity Fashion Show Facebook page.
