Boo! It is no secret that dressing up for Halloween can be a daunting task. From figuring out what to be, to finding a cool and unique outfit, it is not easy!
Whether you want to go for a traditional scary look, or you prefer to take a more American approach by dressing as something funny, then look no further. Here are some ideas for what to wear this Halloween when you realise just days before that you have no costume.
1) The creepy twins from The Shining.
This is a great costume for dressing up with a friend, and simple enough to replicate a spot on look-alike costume that the majority of people will recognise. Pair a baby blue frilly dress with some black Mary-Janes and cover your eyes with dark makeup, just like theirs in the movie.

2. Continuing with the on-screen actress theme, take inspiration from Netflix’s hottest new show Euphoria, and dress up as Rue.
Played by Zendaya, Rue is the main character in the show, who embraces a very cool tomboy and grungy style. Take a look through your closet for some Converse, a funky crop top, and some jeans. Add an extra touch to your costume with some glitter for under your eyes to match the gold triangles she sports at the carnival one night (pictured below). The girly glitter will add a nice contrast to your tomboy outfit.

3. Seeing as Halloween first originated due to the Celtic belief that the dead would return to life on October 31st, it makes all the sense in the world why so many people choose to dress up as skeletons.
Sticking to this classic costume idea that has lots of room for interpretation is a great idea. Try a full body skin-suit, or experiment with a cool mask, and some skeletal gloves. You can never go wrong as a skeleton.
