House of Horror Preview

As Halloween creeps around the corner, students busily text friends, scan Facebook events, and debate what is the best Halloween event of this season.  House of Horror is back and better than ever with new vendors and surprises.

Here is a little preview of House of Horror 2019!

Where:

Kinkell Byre

When:

All Hallows Eve, 21:00 – 02:00

What:

House of Horror is Scotland’s largest Halloween themed event, which presents attendees with a different theme every year. This year’s event, House of Horror: Kingdom Grimm, is inspired by the gruesome fairy tales of the brothers Grimm. Did you know that in the original Cinderella the ugly step sisters cut off their own toes? Rumpelstiltskin rips himself in half?

Food:

This year at House of Horror we will have a selection of amazing food vendors, providing a mix of familiar classics as well as some spectacular out of town options!

The student run “La Creperie”, will be offering FREE crepes from 9-10 pm for early arriving guests, and then selling sweet and savoury crepes throughout the night. In addition the event will have two amazing food trucks, “Wildfire Pizza” offering proper wood fired pizza, and “Stag Bites the Hog”, which will be serving mouth-watering comfort food like gnocchi, toasties, and halloumi and more. Guests can expect food which is both delicious and Halloween themed!

Rides + Shots:

Included in the ticket price guests will receive access to an awesome fairground ride for the necessary Halloween adrenaline rush. A limited amount of free shots will be provided for attendees on arrival.

Music:

The event will have an eclectic mix of DJs, with this year’s line-up being comprised of VS, TIGRE DJ, and closing the night, BPM Music Collective.

Charity:

All of the event’s proceeds go to a local charity, Impact Arts. Impact Arts is an amazing charity which aims to create social change through the arts.

Fixr link and wristband collection:

Limited tickets are still available on fixr!

Wristband collection will be held on Wednesday, the 30th of October. No guests will be allowed into the venue without a wristband. For up to date information about the event, keep an eye on the event page on Facebook!
