It's that time of year again where everyone is arriving back to St Andrews and realizing that they need a whole new Autumn wardrobe. But, the important question is, where do I find new clothes in such a small town? Well, I’m here to tell you! This article will cover a few shops in St. Andrews where freshers, or anyone, can grab their staple items such as jewelry, belts, shoes, jackets, and so much more!

The first place worth noting is Oliver Bonas. This store is ideal for grabbing new room decor or a bold statement sweater. They have a lovely range of brightly colored
sweaters to bring some life into any outfit on a cloudy day!

In addition, their room decor has everything ranging from throw pillows and blankets to jewelry holders, candles, and all the tools for a cute little bar cart. While Oliver Bonas has a large variety of clothes and knick-knacks that range from affordable to pricey, if you specifically want room decor and colorful sweaters I would definitely recommend coming here!

The second store I would recommend is Spoiled Life which combines a coffee shop and store, making for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Some of Spoiled Life's items that always stand out to me are jackets and shoes. Their jewelry, in my opinion, is also next level.

Every time I go in to grab a coffee I always know that I am going to be incredibly tempted to buy everything that I see! They also have a great selection of
homeware options and many other great staples if you’re interested, but do be warned, some of their merchandise can be on the more expensive side.

The next place to highlight is The British Heart Foundation which is a charity shop that offers a great selection of affordable clothes and necessities for flats and dorm rooms. This is a perfect place to go if you need a last minute outfit, or are just trying to buy some items on a budget. It provides great options that have been previously worn by students, so it fits in perfectly with the St Andrews style.

The last place to note is H&M, which has everything you need from belts, jewelry, sweaters, jeans, shoes, jackets, blouses, dresses, and so much more! Not only is H&M very affordable, but if you have an event and you need something last minute, it’s a great option. If you're ever leaving class and just want to stop in and browse around, the central location in St Andrews allows you to grab their items quickly and easily!

While all of these stores have so much variety, here are just a few staple item recommendations that stand out to me! Despite being small, St. Andrews can be such a great town for shopping and grabbing any kind of item on the go, so take full advantage of that whenever you can, and get excited to shop for Autumn!
